Years ago I took part in the repair of a house built in the 1800’s. A storm had blown a tree onto the roof, crushing one of the second story bed rooms and the big wrap around porch. I salvaged some of the broken framing lumber and made this table from it. I believe the wood is long leaf pine, but I can’t be certain. It makes a nice end table by my couch.
